This course will offer students the opportunity to acquire advanced animal principles, know and respect diversity in the animal kingdom, and become animal advocates for animal welfare on all levels encompassing family pets, domestic livestock and wild life resources. Students will be prepared for advanced post-secondary level education in animal science, biology, and/or zoology. This course will also incorporate research methods to perform in depth studies of the anatomy and physiology of a variety of animal species, science labs, and advanced communication and critical thinking skills. This course is open to high school and adult students.

Prior to enrolling: • Open to high school and adult students • If an adult, provide proof of a HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA or GED (translated into English) • A signed Student Waiver and Release Form is required.
