SoCal ROC Transitions to PowerSchool!
The Southern California Regional Occupational Center is transitioning to a new student information system this academic year. We are thrilled to share that we will be switching to PowerSchool, and registration through this updated platform will commence on September 9th.
Dear our Adult students, high school students, and parents,
We are excited to announce a significant improvement in our school's administrative and academic management systems. Beginning this September, we will be transitioning from Youm-Tzib Software Solutions (YSS) to PowerSchool as our primary student information system (SIS).
Registration through this new platform is currently available
Please ensure that your contact info in YSS is up to date as your email address will be required to log in to register your student.
PowerSchool is a leading Student Information System (SIS) used globally by schools to improve communication, streamline operations, and promote student success. Our choice to transition to PowerSchool is based on its robust features and user-friendly interface, which we believe will greatly benefit our students, parents, and staff.

- PowerSchool features an intuitive Parent Portal for real-time access to your or your child's academic progress, attendance, and grades. The system also enables direct messaging enhancing communication and collaboration.
- User-Friendly Mobile Access allows users to check grades, receive updates, and access school announcements on-the-go.
- PowerSchool emphasizes data security, ensuring student information is protected with top privacy and security protocols.

Parent Portal Help
If you have any questions relating to accessing or logging into the Parent Portal, you can contact the SoCal ROC Technology Department at [email protected]. If you are a new student or never received an Access ID, please contact us at 310 - 224 -4200 to obtain your student’s Access ID.
