Ralph Dao is a financial management and leadership professional with twenty solid years of experience in accounting and finance solutions. He has a proven track record in implementing positive changes within various organizations by streamlining and improving processes and procedures, building strong internal controls, and cross training team functions.
Ralph's financial leadership highlights include his ability to manage a P&L of over $250 million, budgeting, forecasting, fiscal management services, grants and multi-funding sources accounting, finance, grants management and compliance, payroll, benefits and interaction with all arrays of the organization for major non-profit, higher educational, quasi-governmental organizations in regulated environments such as higher education, community based, healthcare association and higher education auxiliary & foundation services. He is particularly adept at handling non-profit financial statements with large federal and state, counties grants and has extensive experience in Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), OMB Uniform Grant Guidance Single Audits and servicing major grant specific and program monitoring audits. Ralph adheres to the strict guidelines and control measures and high professional standards of Nonprofit Integrity Act, Government Auditing Standards (GAS), GASB, FASB, AICPA, and The Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act of 2002.
Apart from his professional achievements, Ralph has a keen interest in music and reading. His personal favorites include the books and movie Life of Pi and Gone with The Wind, he also enjoys poetry writing, and gardening. Ralph has organized and led several educational, financial, and healthcare relief and in-kind charity works to Southeast Asia countries, including Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Laos. Additionally, he has advocated for fundraising drives to support disaster areas such as Turkey, Japan, Haiti, and Oklahoma. His innate leadership qualities, coupled with his compassion for those in need, make him a well-rounded individual with a passion for helping others.
