Our Health Unit Coordinator/ EKG Monitoring Program, prepares students to become employed as a Health Unit Coordinator/EKG Monitoring Technician. This program offers a great and cost-effective avenue to gain medical experience and help students narrow down their career paths. Students will learn valuable Healthcare topics such as medical law, anatomy and physiology, medical charts and forms, and coordinating diagnostic testing. The program will also cover EKG monitor techniques and technologies such as cardiac rhythms, EKG machine preparation, electrodes, the cardiovascular system, heart rates, and reporting procedures.
