Chinese Educators Visit SoCal ROC

On Wednesday, January 20, 2016, California State University, Dominguez Hills, College of Extended and International Education toured the Southern California Regional Occupational Center (SoCal ROC) with a group of international students from China. The Chinese students were a group comprised of administrators and instructors from Career Technical Education programs in China. They visited SoCal ROC programs such as Automotive, Registered Dental Assisting, Certified Medical Assisting, Cosmetology, Pet Health and Grooming, and Personal Fitness Trainer. The visitors were particularly interested in the course content and the state-of-the art equipment available to SoCal ROC students in the various courses. The similarities and differences of Career Technical Education in China and the United States were also discussed during the tour.
