MICROSOFT OFFICE SPECIALIST (MOS) INSTRUCTOR

Function: MOS Access 2013-MOS Excel 2013-MOS Outlook 2013-MOS Power Point 2013-MOS Word 2013 Instruction to develop students’ skills in computer operations and applications as they are used in the business and industrial environment.

Instruction will cover the working knowledge of Microsoft Office using Word (word processing), Excel (spreadsheets), Power Point (presentation software), Access (database) applications, and Microsoft Office using Outlook (calendar) as used for business purpose. Instruction will include student’s hands-on learning experience based on real-world scenarios that include merging documents and integrating applications such as tables, charts, graphs diagrams and text box tools, as well as web page editing and use of the Internet for research and business purpose.

Each Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification exam is developed from a set of exam skill standards that are derived from studies of how the Office programs are used in the workplace. The MOS certification exams are performance based and require you to complete business-related tasks or projects. Courses provide an overview of the fundamental tasks, refresher instructions, and validation practice you need to know to take MOS exams.
